How to Speed Up Windows 11 (Beginner to Advanced Guide)
1. Restart the Computer
Restarting clears memory and stops hidden background issues.
Steps
Click Start → Power → Restart

2. Disable Startup Apps (Biggest Improvement)
Too many apps starting automatically slow down boot time and performance.
Steps
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc
Open Startup apps
Turn Off apps you don’t need immediately (Spotify, game launchers, chat apps)

3. Set Power Mode to Best Performance
Improves speed by allowing higher CPU usage.
Steps
Settings → System → Power
Power mode → Best performance

4. Turn On High Performance Power Plan
This allows your CPU to run at higher speeds.
Option A: Control Panel
Press Win + R
Type:
Select High performance
If you don’t see it, click Show additional plans
5. Reduce Visual Effects
Disables animations that slow older or low-end PCs.

Press Win + R
Type:
Go to Advanced → Performance → Settings
